    Why is the website blocking my access to contact info for my opponents via my online schedule?

    The website is programmed to block your access to contact info for all other teams IF your Team Directory is not completed in full. Your Team Directory is located on your Team (and Club) home pages. Teams must keep this page updated and completely filled out at all times.

    Full means more than just managers and coaches. Each team must ALSO have a person linked as primary contact and other contact. It can be the manager, coach, club rep or somebody new, but we need to know who the league or other teams should contact 1st and 2nd on your team if there is a problem that needs immediate attention.

    Every person appearing on your Team Directory must have complete information entered for name, address, phone numbers (two) and email.

    Here is a typical member inquiry:

    "I'm trying to use the team contact function to get in touch with one of my upcoming opponents. A pop-up tells me I haven't entered my own team contact info for the season, and won't let me contact others. My Team Directory is entered. What am i doing wrong?"

    Team Directory requires each of the following:
    • Manager (required)
    • Primary Contact (required)
    • Other Contact (required).
    You will see the bold red letters "REQUIRED" on your team info page next to each of these positions if they are empty.

    The same person may be linked to more than one position e.g., a manager or coach also may be linked as primary or other contact.

    The primary and other contact can NOT be the same person.

    A person's contact information should be entered to the website once only. After that, his "information record" is stored in the league database. By selecting that person by name from any drop-down list, he and his contact information are linked directly to a team or club w/o the need for re-entering his information. Entering a second information record for the same person creates a duplicate record for that person. That can result in various problems. Always search for a person in the existing database before adding him as a new person. If the person has new data it can be easily edited once selected and linked.

    To link/add a team manager, coach or team contact person to your Team Directory, follow these instructions:

    1. If you have not already done so: log-in and go to your Team Directory, located on your team home page or CLICK HERE;
    2. Click the word “link” opposite the vacant position you wish to fill;
    3. Open the drop-down box that appears and search for the person’s name you wish to appoint;

      NOTE: A person's contact information should be entered to the website once only. Once entered to the system, a person's "information record" thus created, can be linked to the same team or club in multiple capacities and/or to multiple teams and even clubs this year or in future years, w/o the person's information being re-entered. Player information (team roster) works the same way.
    4. If the person’s name is on the list, select it by clicking on it, then clicking OK. The person should now be linked to your team and you are done. He will receive an email from the website with his personal log-in, the details of his appointment (team name, position and league name) as well as a link to the ENYTB website;
    5. If the person’s name is not on the list he is not in our database and must be added new. To add a new person, find the ADD NEW PERSON link, located at the top the Team Directory block, and click it. An information form comes up. Fill it out for the person you wish to add. After you are done, save the form. The system will ask if you wish to link this person to your team. Select yes and select the appropriate vacant position. NOTE: If the system does not ask to link this person to your team, simply return to your Team Directory and follow steps 3 and 4 above. Once the person has been linked to your team he will receive an email from the website giving him his personal log-in as well as the details of his appointment (team name, position and league name) and a link to the ENYTB website.

      NOTE: Any person may retrieve his own password from the website directly by clicking the "Lost Password" located at the top of any page.
