Loopholes On Age Eligibility

    Pitching Restrictions On Over-Aged Players

While ENYTB allows teams teams to carry a limited number of over-aged players (players whose baseball age is one more than the age of their team), doing so affects the team's eligibility for sanctioned tournament play (discussed elsewhere).

In addition, over-aged players at certain ages are restricted from pitching as follows:

    (A) Spring/Summer Season:

    (1) 13 year olds (baseball age for current spring/summer season) - can not pitch in games played with a pitching distance less than 60'6". This means that 13 yos playing on a 12u team can not pitch in 12U or 11U games.

    (2) 11 year olds (baseball age for current spring/summer season) - can not pitch in games played with a pitching distance of 46'. This means that 11 yos playing on a 10U team can NOT pitch in 10u and 9U games.

    (B) Fall Season

    (1) 13 year olds (baseball age for spring/summer season) - can NOT pitch in games played with a pitching distance less than 60'6". This means that 13 yos playing on a 12u team can not pitch in 12U or 11U games.

NOTE: Players that were 12 yos for spring/summer season are still eligible to pitch at 12U in the Fall season even though they will be baseball 13s in the following spring/summer season.

    (2) 11 year olds (baseball age for current season) - can not pitch in games played with a pitching distance of 46'. This means that 11 yos playing on a 10U team can NOT pitch in 10u and 9U games.

NOTE: Players that were 10 years old for the spring/summer season are still eligible to pitch at 10U in the Fall season even though they will be baseball 11s in the following spring/summer season.
