    When does club/team activation begin/end?


    The activation period for the upcoming spring/summer season usually begins on DEC 26 or shortly thereafter. Fall ball activation begins on Aug 15 or shortly thereafter. The exact dates for each season/year will be announced on the ENYTB News Board and all prior year members shall receive an email notification as well.

    Clubs and teams can be activated right up till registration closes and scheduling begins.

    MAR 1 - Registration Closes - Ages 12U and Under
    APR 1 - Registration Closes - Ages 13U and Up

    NOTE:

    IMPORTANT INFO For ALL Returning Clubs/Teams:

    All teams returning from the prior year must be re-activated BEFORE FEB 1 to preserve their league right of roster protection. On FEB 1, all players on the ENYTB rosters of non-activated teams shall be declared unrestricted free agents (UFA). They are then free to sign with any ENYTB team they wish w/o counting as a RFA for the acquiring team.

    In addition, beginning 2012, all new clubs must submit a deposit check of $225 to activate their club and teams. This deposit will be

    NOTE: If an existing member misses the FEB 1 deadline he can still register his teams for the current season but there is no guarantee that his players from the prior year have not already legally signed up to play for another ENYTB member club.

    NOTE: Late registration is sometimes available until mid-March for the younger teams and mid-April for the older teams.

    OTHER IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DEADLINES:
    1. Teams must make their post-season sanctioning and tournament registration choices;
    2. Teams (or their club) must pay their full registration fees; and,
    3. Teams must provide their scheduling inputs to their League Navigator.
    Every club gains roster protection rights as they are added as "primary" status players to the online ENYTB roster of any of its teams.

    Players can be added to online rosters beginning as soon as the team is activated for the upcoming season.

    NOTE: No player can be used in a league game unless that player has first been added to the team's online roster. Proof of age must be submitted to the league no later than 72 hours after a new player's first appearance in a league game unless the player has played in ENYTB previously and his DOB was already confirmed by the league.
