The following 10 teams are entered:STD15UV15RR15GBR-Red15 (has withdrawn per Tom Litz)GBR-Blue15TCB15NISKY15OLDB15BRWK15NCP15(NOTE: The EI/ENYTB League Championship Tournaments at 13U, 14U and 16U were canceled due to insufficient entries.) Hybrid Hosting Format - The first two rounds will be played on Tuesday through Friday nights, on the home fields of participating teams. Teams will share umpire fees for games played in the first two rounds and supply baseballs same as regular season. The home team in each game in rounds one and two shall be responsible for ordering umpires. All remaining games will be played at a central host site, FMCC, on Saturday, Sunday and Monday night, if necessary, and the umpire fees for these games are covered by the tournament entry fee. The teams eliminated at the end of the 2nd round shall play a consolation round-robin on Saturday at the home field of one of the participating teams. With games beginning as early as Tuesday, the tournament schedule needs to be completed before end of this weekend. Thus, I need the following two things from each team right away: ************************************************************************(1) Confirmation that you are still in - your team needs to be available from Tuesday (or Wednesday) through Sunday (possibly Mon night too). The dates of July 8 thru 12.(2) Dates from Tuesday 7/8 thru Friday 7/11 that your team is able to play on its home field at 6pm.********************************************************************** TOURNAMENT FORMAT - Double elimination with a consolation round to guarantee teams a three game minimum. SEEDING - Average points attained in ALL regular season league games at 15U shall be used to qualify, place and seed teams in both divisions. A weighted points system, designed to "normalize" for strength of schedule as well as number of games played, shall be used. Log-in to the website and go to:Main > Team Home > Standings and find STANDINGS for:Sanction = NoneAge = 15UDivision Type = TournamentName = League ChampionThis STANDINGS is brand new as of this morning. Teams are ranked by points (not W/L percentage) and points are weighted by strength-of-schedule. This STANDINGS closes on Sunday so please get your schedules fully updated as early as possible on Sunday as I will use this STANDINGS to seed your teams into this tournament.Rounds 1 and 2 (weekdays) - Games will be played at home field of highest seeded team in that game where possible. If highest seeded team doesn't have a field available the game will be played at the other team's home field. If neither team has a home field available, we have a problem. We will be able to play 1 or 2 games on Friday (RD2) at FMCC if nec. Rules - Same as regular season.Drafting - Teams are allowed to select as many as three players from other 15U league teams not entered in the tournament, with permission of the player's team manager. Drafted players can wear their own uniform. There will be no selection order for the draft. Teams may begin contacting managers (first) and players (second) beginning now. PRIZES - Each team will receive a dozen high quality tournament baseballs and an Extra Innings "Sack-O'-Gold" (EI batting cage tokens valued at $50). In addittion, the top 2 teams in BOTH divisions also shall receive:free use of the Extra Innings team training facility (valued at $250); team trophies (ENYTB trademark "3-Bat, Glove & Ball" trophies) and tournament tee-shirt (with ENYTB trademark logo on front and baseball diamond w baseballs on back).
