Particular Types Of Conflicts Where Games Are Cancellable w/o Penalty via The REQUEST ADMIN CANCEL Icon....

Particular Types Of Conflicts Where Games Are Cancellable w/o Penalty via The "REQUEST ADMIN CANCEL" Icon ......In most situations, once the schedule is out, you have to play your schedule as is or forfeit. Exceptions include WP, and requests for NWP and NHNFC entered to website at least 7 days in advance and approved by your opponent. Based on our experience with this system last year, we added another category of "legal" schedule change, called the Request For An Administrative Cancellation.REQUEST ADMIN CANCELLATION = red X on each game. Simply click it and follow the on-screen prompts. This new function was added to grant teams cancellations w/o penalty in four specific instances. They are:(1) Conflicts w HS Sectional GamesAs soon as you know you will have 2 or more players not available for an ENYTB game because of a conflict with HS Sectional game, you are eligible for this cancellation. BUT, you must click this red X to let us all know and you must call your opponent to make sure he knows and you must email me the names of two affected players and the name of their high school.(2) Conflicts w School Events NOT Previously ScheduledThis could be a school banquet or even a make-up game in school baseball at any level. The only requirement is that it was not a PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED event that was knowable before scheduling began and could have been blacked out.(3) Conflicts w ENYTB Hosted TournamentsIf you are still alive in the June/July Madness tournament, you would qualify for this type cancellation. Let your opponent know in advance that it is a possibility. As soon as you have the conflict for sure, immediately enter the request voia the website and inform your opponent. (4) Conflicts w Sanctioned TournamentsMany teams sign up for one, two or even three sanctioned tournament series. Since we don't know in advance which you will qualify for and accept or how far you might advance, many of you are scheduled to play regular season games during these tournaments. Once you know you will be in one of these events, you need to use this function to cancel all conflicts ASAP.When requesting these cancellations, you are required to call your opponent and notify him as well.++++++++Where Are The "Cheat Sheets" for Schedule Changes?++++++++++Once again, I encourage ALL teams to familiarize themselves with the four tables ("cheat sheets") which succinctly summarize everything you need to know re: ENYTB's schedule management rules and tools:Table 1 - schedule management tools/rules for both ADMIN CANCELLATION REQUESTS and WEATHER POSTPONEMENT REQUESTS;Table 2 - schedule management tools/rules for NO HARM NO FOUL CANCELLATION REQUESTS and NON-WEATHER POSTPONEMENT REQUESTS. NOTE: These changes are allowable for non-local games only!;Table 3 - schedule management tools/rules for FIELD CHANGES and START TIME CHANGES OF UP TO 2 HOURS IN EITHER DIRECTION. NOTE: These changes are available to home teams only. NOTE: The START TIME CHANGE is NOT available for non-local games;Table 4 - schedule management tools/rules for PASSED Games and FORFEIT DECLARATIONS.Where do you find these tables? On your schedule page, above your schedule. There is an FAQ there entitled Schedule Management 101. Click the EXPAND button to open it up. The four "cheat sheet" tables are linked at the very top of this FAQ. These are the same tables given out at this winter's league meetings and posted in the minutes to those meetings. They present all necessary information in a very succinct and easily readable format. Simply find the table that applies to your situation, be it a Request For An Admin Cancellation (discussed above) or a Request for a WP or a Request for a NWP or Request for a NHNFC, etc.
