Required Credentials For NABF Tournament Play
Congratulations to all our NABF berth award winners!
DRAFTING - NABF allows up to six draft picks up to their tournament roster limit (can vary by age division).
To participate in the draft, submit an ordered list of players (name and team name/age) you would like to draft via email to Ed Frye at
fryes@nycap.rr.com. The draft is held the first day after the day the berths are officially awarded.
NOTE: Teams going to NABF tournaments can draft from all other ENYTB registered teams in their two year age division e.g., 15U and 16U. The player's team can not be taking an NABF berth in the same age division. Exceptions: 17U and 18U are OK and 22U and UNL are OK. Please contact manager of player's primary team before drafting a player. There are harsh penalties for not doing so.

The name and contact info for your NABF Tournament Director is provided in your NABF Tournament Packet along with an NABF rulebook. Contact Ed Frye to get your NABF tournament packet and patches. Bring 3 signed copies of your NABF tournament roster (printed from enytb.com) for Ed to sign and make official.
Your PONY Tournament Director is your your source for all tournament information. Ask him any question you may have, including: directions to fields, tournament schedule, hotels, playing rules etc.
REQUIREMENTS OF ALL NABF TOURNAMENT TEAMS:1. Print three copies of NABF Tournament Roster (Team Affidavit) - from enytb.com.
2. Proof of insurance coverage with NABF listed as an additional insured.
3. Birth documents -- photocopies accepted -- birth documents from towns or cities preferred (Baptismal certificates discouraged).
4. 8x10 team photo (often not required at REGIONAL level, but required at World Series level).
5. NABF Tournament Team Patches sewn on right sleeves of game jerseys -- also required for team manager and coaches that go on the field.
6. Managers and coaches may be required to be in full uniform or just color coordinated top and bottoms. Your TD can tell you. All World Series teams will be required to be in full uniform.
Every NABF berth winner needs to come to my house to get their NABF tournament packet and patches (no charge for one set). Bring the three copies of your NABF tournament roster as well so I can certify your tournament roster.
When you get back from your tournament let me know how you made out and the pros and cons of your experience.
Tournament winners and runner-ups should send me a team photo and we will post to website. Divisional winners/runner-ups and JMT winners/runner-ups are welcome to do the same.
