Tournament Page Has Been Remodeled and Updated For 2012 (Except For AABC)

Tournament Page Has Been Remodeled and Updated For 2012 (Except For AABC)The remodeling of enytb.com's "Tournament Master Schedule" page has been completed. The data for the 2012 tournaments also has been updated to the extent it is currently available (more detail on what is and isn't actually known at this time is presented below). The finished product can be viewed by clicking here. The structure of the remodeled page will look similar to the old one but as you look closely you will notice several important differences. Some tournament are classified differently (more accurately) and their row labels have changed accordingly. Each tournament is now labeled as to bat type and field dimensions. (In the past we have had members blindly assume that these tournaments would be played under the same equipment rules and field dimensions as our regular season, only to be surprised at the tournament.)You will also notice that we can now list multiple tournaments in the same box e.g., there can be two CABA World Series and/or two CABA National Championships listed for the same age group. When this is the case, you will notice the dates and sites differ and usually one is wood bat and one is aluminum bat. (in ages that offer both types of tournaments, once we know who has registered for what we will vote on which of the CABA World Series tournaments to register the league for.)The status of the current data by sanctioning body is as follows:AABC - the only 2012 info that has been announced is World Series dates and sites. Everything else is a guess based on last year. (NOTE: AABC usually doesn't provide ENYTB with updated State or Regional tournament data for the current year until midnight the night before the tournament begins. For that reason and others, AABC registrations by teams in this league has dipped in recent years from 90% to 30%.)PONY - Zone and World Series dates/sites have been announced. Regional dates were guesses based on zone dates and last year's sites.NABF - All 2012 tournaments have been announced.CABA - All 2012 tournaments have been announced.ENYTB - Actual 2012 dates and sites all known. Whether we host the NABF16 Regional locally is still a question mark. We are still seeking co-host(s) with a quality field(s).
