Monday, January 16, 2012 @ 12:00 am All teams from the prior year that have not yet been activated for the current year are purged from the system on this date, thereby freeing those players to sign with any other ENYTB team.
Clubs and teams that miss this deadline are still eligible to register for the current season up until registration officially closes in late winter. However, such teams are at risk of having their players from the prior year sign with another ENYTB team in the interim.

29 mtgTopic 1 - NCTS Eligibility
Sunday, January 29, 2012 @ 2:00 pm What the heck is NCTS eligibility? If you have any interest in qualifying for post-season sanctioned tournaments, you really need to attend this meeting.
-----------------------------------------------
NCTS = National Championship Tournament Series.
-----------------------------------------------
Each sanctioning body offers its own NCTS at each age division. The result is an age division World Series Champion under each of the four sanctioning bodies that ENYTB affiliates with e.g., AABC, PONY, NABF and CABA.
-----------------------------------------------
ENYTB teams register to be eligible for these tournaments on an ala carte basis on the same online form that they register for regular season league play.
------------------------------------------------
Once registered i.e., "eligible", how do teams compete for these berths?
------------------------------------------------
In 2012, ENYTB will likely purchase more than 70 berths to sanctioned NCTS from the four national sanctioning bodies it is affiliated with. ENYTB then awards these berths to eligible member teams in two ways: on the basis of the results of regular season play (standings) as well as from the results of a special mid-season tournament, dubbed "June Madness".
------------------------------------------------
MEETING AGENDA:
------------------------------------------------
(1) Teams that attended these tournaments in 2011 will briefly describe their experiences i.e., were the facilities high quality, was the competition good, was the tournament well run and did they fell they were treated fairly at all times.
------------------------------------------------
(2) ENYTB officials will describe how NCTS berths will be awarded in 2012.
------------------------------------------------
Teams will use the information provided in (1) and (2) to decide which tournaments, if any, they wish to be eligible for. They will then designate these choices by checking the appropriate boxes on their online team registration form.
-------------------------------------------------
ALL ENYTB meetings will incorporate live website demonstrations to visually illustrate the league's operations and practices.
-------------------------------------------------
ALL ENYTB meetings are scheduled to last about two hours but ENYTB officials will stay as long as necessary to answer questions. Attendees are free to come and go as they wish.
