Special Rules For Fall Ball:
Incl Restrictions On Bats & Limits On Number & Use
Of Over-Aged Players

Over-Aged Player Limits:

All teams, regardless of age or competition level shall be allowed a maximum of 5 over-aged players for the Fall season.

DEFINITION: An over-aged player is any player whose baseball age is one year greater than his team's primary age e.g., a 15yo playing on a 14+ team.

NOTE: The above limits are the same as those applicable to the ENYTB spring/summer season. However, the pitching restrictions below are somewhat different.

Fall Pitching Restrictions For Over-aged Players:

1 - Fall 11 yos (over-aged) can not pitch against fall 9 or 9+ teams;
2 - Fall 13 yos (over-aged) can not pitch against 11 or 11+ teams;
3 - Fall 15 yos (over-aged) can not pitch against 13 or 13+ teams;
4 - Fall 16 yos (over-aged) can not pitch against 14 or 14+ teams; and,
5 - Fall 17 yos (over-aged) can not pitch against 15 or 15+ teams.

Unlike spring/summer ball, 11 yos (fall age) are eligible to pitch against 10u teams and 13 yos (fall age) are eligible to pitch against 12u teams. However, like spring/summer ball, no over-aged player can pitch against a team that is two or more years younger than his team.

Fall Bat Rules:

Fall teams follow the summer bat rules at one year less than their team age. For example, the bat rules applicable to spring/summer 13u teams also apply fall 14u teams.

NOTE: ENYTB is a wood bat league at the older age levels:

Spring/Summer: 15U and older
Fall: 16U and older
