Dead Teams, Team Enrollments & Team Registration Page (Order Form)

Dead Teams, Team Enrollments &Team Registration Page (Order Form)1 - Dead TeamsAll ENYTB registered teams from 2017 that were not activated by yesterday (FEB 1) are now officially designated as "dead" teams. That means all players on those rosters can be had as UFA until or unless their club owner activates the team for the 2018 season.NOTE: Club GMs can access the rosters of their dead teams to transfer active players from their dead teams to their active teams.2 - 2018 Team EnrollmentsWe currently have 51 clubs and 200 teams activated for the 2018 season. Last year at this time we had 195 teams activated. Many of our existing clubs continue to increase their team enrollment. A total of six new clubs has joined ENYTB in 2018 thus far, totaling seven new teams. However, I am still talking to a few other clubs, some with several teams, that are still considering joining us this year. Last year we registered/scheduled a record total of 205 teams. This year that number could increase to between 210 and 220.# Of Teams In Club .........# of Clubs1...........................112...........................103...........................074...........................065...........................056...........................027...........................048...........................029...........................0010..........................0210+.........................01 .... DevilCats with 16!Thanks everyone for your continued support of ENYTB!Anyone from last year still on the sidelines but planning to be active in the league this year should call me to activate ASAP. 3 - Tournament Board Update & Team Registration Page Are NextThis week I updated and brought forward to the home page our most important rule and tournament descriptions. I also updated the League's Calendar on the home page.Between now and our Kick-Off Meeting next Sunday, I expect to update our Tournament Board and Team Registration page (team order form). That is where you tell us what ENYTB program elements, if any, that you wish to register your team for besides our regular season package e.g., sanctioned tournaments, ENYTB tournaments, including the Fall tournament at the JOE, the EarlyBird program, etc. ENYTB's SUPER 8, June Madness and July Madness all have a zero entry fee but to be eligible for them, you must check the box indicating you wish to enter your team.NOTE: Once the team order form is up and you have filled it out, the website will create your team bill (and club bill) and you will know what you owe.REMINDER: All registration monies must be received by the close of registration:MAR 15 - Ages 12U and underAPR 15 - Ages 13U and overMake checks payable to ENYTB and mail to my address, which appears at the bottom of every web page.I hope to see as many of you as possible at next Sunday's Kick-Off Meeting, especially the club GMs. It is difficult to function in this league if you are operating in the dark and don't know what is new or different in the league. One of the most important responsibilities of all GMs is to attend our Kick-Off meeting. This meeting is designed specifically for your benefit i.e., to lay out the league program for the upcoming season, including the important operational changes therewith. Last year, many of our medium and larger sized club owners were conspicuously absent. It is an intrepid club owner who registers 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 teams in this league and chooses not come out to one meeting per year. Team persons are welcome to attend this meeting as well but team people attending only one meeting, would do better to attend the 2nd meeting on Sunday, FEB 25th this year. That meeting is designed to introduce team persons to the many processes that they will encounter throughout the pre-season, regular season, and post-season. The more you know about what's available to your team through its ENYTB membership as well as how things generally work, the richer your team's experience will be.Enjoy the Super Bowl! I think Philly will show up.
