ENYTB's 2015 Winter Meeting Schedule... SUN FEB 8 @1PM: KICK-OFF MEETING (ALL AGES)SUN MAR 15 (REVISED) @1PM: Self-Scheduling (Ages 9u-12u) - Introduction/Live Demonstration (20th Anniversary Coffee Mugs @2 per team).SUN APR 12 (REVISED) @1PM: Self-Scheduling (Ages 13u and Older) - Introduction/Demonstration (20th Anniversary Coffee Mugs @2 per team).ENYTB will once again hold its winter meetings at the Waterford-Halfmoon High School. Thanks to Bill Kelts for once again making all the necessary arrangements!DIRECTIONS: Exit 8A from I-87 (north or south) - turn east on Grooms Rd and cross Rt 9 - Grooms Rd becomes Guideboard Rd - School is on the left 4.2 miles east of Rt 9. MAP LINK These meetings are scheduled to last about two hours but ENYTB officials will stay as long as necessary to answer questions. Attendees are free to come and go as they wish.NOTE: These meetings are not mandatory per se, but they are essential to league participation in terms of understanding what program options are available to your team and what to expect as we move towards registration lock-down and scheduling as well as regular season and post-season play. This is especially true this year with the introduction of Self-Scheduling. Much essential information will be provided and your input may even help reshape the program in the upcoming season and/or in future seasons.ALL meetings will incorporate live website demonstrations to visually illustrate the subject matter under discussion. The ENYTB winter meetings are conducted in a casual atmosphere where members are encouraged to ask questions and participate in the discussion. These meetings will be presided over by League President, Ed Frye, as well as other members of the league's two governing bodies, including ENYTB Vice-President, Matt Terry (Devil Cats) and Members' Council Representatives Jaimie Kosowsky (Tri City Bombers), Bill Stubblebine (League Navigator) and Bill Parlapiano (League Navigator).MINI-OVERVIEW OF EACH MEETINGKICK-OFF MEETING - (ALL AGES) - SUN FEB 8 @1PMENYTB is continually evolving and reinventing itself. After a quick review of the prior season, all major changes affecting the upcoming season are presented and discussed in some detail, including an overview of the ENYTB post-season and tournament eligibility options/fees. This year, discussion will also focus on the expansion of the ELITE Division (2014) and Self-Scheduling (2015).SELF-SCHEDULING MEETING #1 (Ages 9u-12u)) - Sunday MAR 15 (REVISED) at 1PM.This meeting will provide an introduction to the new Self-Scheduling software package, including a live demonstration of how to enter your team and field availability inputs as well as how to use SS to actually schedule your own home games. It is crucial that all club owners attend one of the two self-scheduling meetings as it is their exclusive responsibility to enter all field availability inputs for their teams. Team managers are responsible for entering their own team availability inputs and for using SS to schedule their own home games. Non-local teams need to be able to enter their own scheduling inputs but League Admin will schedule their teams prior to the start of self-scheduling.SELF-SCHEDULING MEETING #2 (Ages 13U & Older)) - SUN APR 12 (REVISED) at 1PMThere is no difference between SS Meetings #1 and #2 other than the fact Self-Scheduling for ages 9U-12u will be concluded prior to this meeting. As previously mentioned, ENYTB's winter meetings are casual meetings where we encourage everyone to ask questions and participate in the discussion. Often times, significant program changes are made at these meetings as the result of discussions with and input from the members that are present. ENYTB has always been and shall remain a member driven league. Bottom-line, this is your league and we operate it solely for your benefit and enjoyment. We are not going to steer it in a direction that you don't want to go.
