League Info > FAQas well asHelp > "How To" Tipsprovide members with a wealth of information about ENYTB policies, protocols and website operations. I encourage members to use these resources as reference material.Today I would like to bring to your attention the four FAQ articles we have on ENYTB's policy re: playing all scheduled games and what to do when you can't and, where applicable, what penalties would apply. These sections, though generally applicable and useful to the 9-10-11-12 age divisions were written from the perspective of the 13u and older age divisions. What does this mean? At 13u and up, teams are available for reschedules because they can play 7 days/week. The younger ages are usually restricted to Sunday only play and usually, everyone is scheduled to play every Sunday. This means younger teams are usually unable to make-up games ppd due to weather. For that reason, the penalties for not making up games ppd by bad weather are not applicable in the youngerage levels.Nonetheless, many things are covered in FAQ that are directly applicable to and useful to know at the younger ages. For example, what can/should be done re: the threat of bad weather vs actual bad weather. Also, what happens when a team wants to "cancel" a game with you. In general, unless two teams agree to a schedule change or agree not to play each other, every team is obligated to play its schedule as is. As you can imagine after 13 years of operation, we have run into virtually every situation imaginable. The information in FAQ is based on the totality of this experience. While you are in FAQ, take a look at the other information headings to see the range of information provided there. In fact, before asking a question it would be good practice for everyone to go to FAQ and do a quick scan for the information being sought. I'd say the vast majority of questions I've answered this year are actually answered in FAQ. If, after reading FAQ, you still have a question,by all means, let your club rep or account rep know. If they are not reachable, you may email me. If your question is time urgent, I will reply. If it is not, I will forward to your club rep or account rep for a response. I understand that for those clubs that new to the league I am your account rep. But those clubs who have been with us previously, have another person assigned to them to satisfy their league needs. This person, referred to as league rep or league advisor or account rep, is identified on the left hand side of each club's home page (Main > Owner Home). Each year, the account reps are responsible for running the league once registration ans scheduling concludes. This is important so that I have the time to schedule the older ages and get them going, to register our league and teams with the appropriate sanctioning bodies and to make plans for the 50 tournaments we run, beginning early July. So, for all routine questions, please begin using FAQ and your club re! ps andyour account reps. In the end, if you feel your needs have not been adequately met, then by all means, come to me directly. Thanks very much,Ed
