Rules re: ENYTB Member Clubs w Teams Never Registered In ENYTB Or That Move An ENYTB Registered Team Out Of The League

posted by Administrator 12/27/2019 01:12:20

1 - Team w/o any players acquired as RFA from other ENYTB teams

Team is free to leave ENYTB w/o penalty.

2 - All other teams (i.e., those with players acquired as RFA from other ENYTB teams):

A. If a team disbands and does not continue playing as a team in another league or as an independent team or as a tournament team, there is no penalty to the parent club.

B. If a member club moves any team it owns from ENYTB to play exclusively in another league or as an independent team or as a tournament team, and that team included any players acquired as RFA from other ENYTB teams, then that club shall be designated a non-continuing club and all its teams shall be disallowed any RFA credits thereafter.

C. If a member club owns a team that has never participated in ENYTB but has taken players from other ENYTB teams (these are RFA by definition), the membership rights of the entire club shall be terminated.

NOTE: Exception - If that team was formed to play in a higher level league for 18U or College Level players.

Clubs can avoid these penalties by their team's ENYTB registration status by playing a LIMITED SCHEDULE in ENYTB's SHOWCASE Division. This option requires the team to play between 6 and 8 ENYTB games and qualifies the team for a 50% discount on its registration fee. SHOWCASE teams are not eligible for any ENYTB tournaments.
