ENYTB Fall Program
Sign-Up Period: AUG 18th thru AUG 31!

REGISTRATION For ENYTB Fall Program: OPENS AUG 18 and CLOSES AUG 31

Last year approximately 125 teams were registered in ENYTB's Fall Ball program. We expect as many or more this year.

IMPORTANT: All teams age up one year fron Spring/Summer season to Fall season.

Example: A team that qualified as 12U this summer will qualify for 13U in fall ball this fall i.e., fall teams play at the age and field size that they will play at in 2019 Spring/Summer.

ENYTB offers play at all ages from 9u-19U and all skill levels from low to very high.

By AUG 31, all teams intending to participate in ENYTB's Fall Program need to be activated on the website. They also need to enter their scheduling inputs to the website and have their Fall registration fee ($250/team) paid by that date.

Play begins the weekend of SEP 8 (or any time thereafter that the team is available) and ends the last weekend in October (or any time before that the team wishes).

Schedules for the first two weekends will be posted online the day after Labor Day. The rest of the schedule will be released online one week later.

NOTE: Teams that wish start late (after SEP 15) have until Thursday, SEP 6 to register.

ENYTB's Fall program is a mirror image of its summer program with a few simplifications.

-->Club GMs still activate their teams by calling me (Ed Frye) at 518-542-8498.

-->Scheduling inputs are still entered online by the club (field availability) and teams (team availability). Video tutorials are available for both. If you still have difficulty, contact me and I will enter your inputs for you.

-->ENYTB provides each team with a customized schedule based on its scheduling inputs, including strength-of-schedule preference.

-->There are no sanctioning options for Fall ball.

--> Fall Tournaments - Still one berth available for the ENYTB/ValleyCats Fall Classic at JOE Bruno in mid-September.

-->Summer teams keeping the same name and at least 50% the same roster, do not need to submit proof of insurance. All others do.

-->Also need proof of player's DOB for all players new to ENYTB. This information should be emailed to me at pres@runmyleague.com.

FALL TEAM REGISTRATION FEE - $250 per team.

NOTE: Fall Teams are maintained as separate teams on the website i.e., they are not your summer teams changed over to fall teams. That is why fall teams have their own passwords and, if a new fall team in 2018, begin with empty rosters. All info for fall teams from the previous year is preserved and is the starting point for this year's team. So if you log-in with your summer team password, the system will show you your summer team, not your fall team.

NOTE: Unlike team passwords, club level passwords are the same for all seasons.

Why are fall teams treated as separate teams? Because the roster restrictions applicable to summer teams do not apply to fall teams. All players are free to play for the fall team of their choice and to change fall teams from one season to the next as they wish.

CLUB SECURITY DEPOSIT - All clubs are required to maintain a $225 security deposit with the league. A single security deposit covers all teams in the club regardless of number. This security is to ensure payment of fines for schedule reliability violations e,g, forfeits, no shows, passed games. Any balance is fully refundable when your club leaves ENYTB.

NOTE: A club's residual security deposit from summer ball is automatically applied to its fall registration.

Description of major features of ENYTB Fall Program follows:
  • Open to ENYTB and non-ENYTB teams alike;
  • Open Player Movement{/b] - ENYTB players are free to play for the team of their choice);
  • Mixed Age Rosters e.g., 13u-14u-15u mixed.

    NOTE: Player's age is based on his baseball age for the 2019 spring/simmer season e.g., summer 14u team = fall 15U team;
  • Wood Bat Only beginning 15U;
  • Fully Customized Schedules - Prepared by ENYTB admin using its state-of-the-art proprietary scheduling methodology;
  • Competitively Balanced Schedules - Scheduling methodology allows teams to self-identify their relative level of competitiveness as well as pick the relative degree of schedule difficulty they prefer;
  • No Paperwork Required! - Other than proof of age for players new to ENYTB and proof of team insurance for teams that were not ENYTB members in the 2018 spring/summer season (proof of insurance not required for ENYTB spring/summer teams provided team name and 50% of original roster remains intact;

    NOTE: Players must be listed on fall rosters.

  • ENYTB 24x7 Helpdesk - All requests for admin assistance must go through ENYTB Helpdesk and must be sent by club GM only;

MORE re: CUSTOMIZED SCHEDULING - Play begins when you want it to (anytime beginning the first weekend after Labor Day)and ends when you want it to (usually mid to late OCT). Play is predominantly weekend only but weeknight play is possible, especially on Fridays, for teams with lighted home fields. If you want to play on Friday nights, make your team available even if you don't have lights.

You tell us the following about how you want to be scheduled:
  • Days and times your team is available to play. This is referred to as Team Availability (TA) and is entered to the website by the team.(NOTE: the more your team is available, the more likely it is to have scheduling matches with teams from within its competitive range.) For example, a team that is avalable both Saturday and Sunday but wants to play one DH, most likely will get match-ups than teams that want to play one DH but are only available on one weekend day;
  • Dates and times your home field is available for scheduling. This is referred to as field availability (FA) and is entered to the website by the club GM;
  • How many games per week you want to play;
  • What type of games you want to play e.g., SG, DH and/or SG9; and,
  • Your team strength and your strength-of-schedule preference.
  • NOTE: Instructional VIDEOS are available for how to enter your TA and FA.

Depending on your scheduling inputs above, your team can be scheduled to play any way it wishes including any of the following:
  • Saturday only;
  • Sunday only;
  • Saturday or Sunday but not both;
  • Both Saturday and Sunday;
  • Mondays (Holidays);
  • Any of several game types e.g., SG, SG9 or DH on each particular date.
  • Any total number of games on each weekend combined (Friday thru Monday) e.g., 0,1,2,3,4,5 or 6.
  • Conditional block-outs are available - i.e., if Friday, no Saturday, if Sunday, no Monday etc.; and,
  • Conditional block-outs based on total game request for weekend i.e., my team is available all days FRI thru SUN, however, once 2 games are scheduled, block out all remaining dates that weekend.

WHEN DOES SCHEDULING BEGIN?

SEP 1.

Teams must be signed up and paid by Aug 31 to be included in the league's Fall scheduling process.

NO LATE REGISTRATION - The door closes once scheduling begins.
