Password Problem?
posted by Administrator 12/10/2010 07:12:17
Active passwords always can be retrieved by clicking [forgot my password] next to or below the log-in link.Passwords expire each year when the website is initialized for the upcoming season, usually about mid-November. To regain full website access, the club rep needs to contact the League office to activate his club for the upcoming season, as well as which of his prior year's teams will be returning and any new teams he plans on registering with the league.Passwords stay the same from year-to-year for all returning participants providing they remain in the same capacities with the same team and/or club. Club reps, managers, coaches and players may change teams, clubs or capacities from one year to the next or even during the year. As this happens, and the individual is linked to his new team, club and/or capacity, he will be given a new password and it will be emailed to him in a similar manner as before.Any authorized user can change his password by going to Main > Profile > Change My Password. NOTE: A thorough discussion of access privileges and public vs. private content can be found HERE.Trouble ShootingIf your club owner/rep has not been activated for the current year, your club's passwords from last year will not be recognized. You can renew all of your club, team and player access codes from the previous season by contacting the League Office to activate (pre-register) your club/teams for the upcoming season. This is free.If you wish to join the league as a new member you must contact the League Office to activate your club and team(s) on the website. This is free except new members are required to pay the base registration fee for each team they activate within 72 hours of being activated. This pre-payment is not refundable. If you are a team manager and your club/team is active yet the password retrieval system has no record of you being an authorized user, contact your club rep and ask him to verify that you are linked to your team and have a password assigned to you (Main > Club Home > Team Info > Log-ins). If your name is not listed there, he needs to link you to the team as a manager. If your name is there but no password is shown, you or your club rep needs to contact the league Office. If you are a team coach and/or contact person and your club/team is active yet the password retrieval system has no record of you being an authorized user, contact your team manager and ask him to verify that you are linked to your team (Registration > Team Directory. If your name is not listed there, your team manager or club rep needs to link you to the team. If your name is there but the system still can not find a password for you, you, your team manager or your club rep needs to contact the league Office. If you are a player and your club/team is active yet the password retrieval system has no record of you being an authorized user, contact your team manager and ask him to verify that you are linked to your team via Registration > Roster > Edit and that your correct email address has been entered.
