To: All ENYTB Clubs/Teams That Have Not Activated For 2009:I trust everyone had a happy holiday season and enjoyed quality family time. I know many of you keep active year-round in other sports so I want to bring to your attention that on Monday, 1/12, I will be deleting all ENYTB teams from 2008 from the website if they have not been activated for 2009. If you are receiving this email, it means your team has not been activated. Q. Why does ENYTB delete inactive teams so early? A. Because we want to give players on teams not coming back a chance to join another ENYTB team.We have been activating clubs/teams for nearly two months now and about half of all clubs/teams have activated at this point (see http://www.enytb.com/teams.php).Q. Who activates?A. The club owner or rep. If you think your club owner/rep is no longer active with your club, then someone acting on behalf of the club owner/rep should contact me.Q. How do you activate?A. The process is short and painless (and free) but it must be conducted over the phone - no emails please. Activation is like a pre-registration, all info can be changed right up until registration closes. Remember, registration will close early this year - March 1, so that the league schedule can get out earlier. Q. What happens if your team gets deleted on 1/12 but you still want to come back? A. You can still come back but you will have to find and relink all your players, managers, coaches and contacts to your ENYTB roster all ove ragain. In addition, between 1/12 and whenever you activate your team, your players are free to join any other ENYTB team they choose.Soooo, if you plan on coming back in 2009, get up from the fireplace and activate your club/teams before Monday to save yourself much time, bother and aggravation.
