When Will My Schedule Be Available?
Pre-scheduling data on team and field availability is collected from January through the end of March (March 15 for ages 12U and under). Scheduling begins immediately thereafter. It takes me about 4 weeks to custom schedule about 3,000 games for 200 teams on more than 100 home fields.
As each game is scheduled, it appears on the website (Main > Team Home > Schedule. Until I am finished scheduling, in early May, your schedule can change from one day to the next. Do not be concerned. When I am done I will announce on the website and through email that the schedule is OFFICIAL! At that point you have two weeks to arrange any necessary reschedules with your opponents. Until then, just watch the process - only complain to me if I have violated any of the constraints you gave me. With 200 teams and 3,000 games to schedule, I simply can't afford the luxury of kibitzing with everyone about moving this game from here to there etc. In fact, during the scheduling period I go into seclusion and stop answering my phone. If you need to get me you will need to email me.
