Incredible Performances
In 2016 Sanctioned Post-season Play
by Five ENYTB Teams ...

As previously reported:

So. Troy Dodgers 13U - Won the AABC13 World Series in Rockville, MD.

The Dodgers become the 8th ENYTB team to turn the trick in the last 15 years! Congratulations to manager Keith Rogers, his coaches and all his players for this remarkable achievement. Such victories don't come w/o a remarkable commitment by many people and much hard work by the coaches and players. Well done!

Other teams that had tremendous post-season finishes in sanctioned tournaments, include:

Frozen Ropes Outlaws 16U - Finished 2nd in NABF16 World Series!

The Outlaws, managed by Quentin Jensen, went 4-0 in pool play and were the number 1 seed in their bracket. They won twice more (6-0) to reach the championship game where they lost to the Jackson 96ers. Great job Quentin, his coaches and his players!

Greene Cty Outlaws 12U - Advanced to PONY12 World Series in LA, CA!

The 12u GC Outlaws won the PONY12 Super-Regional (Milford, CT) and the PONY12 East Zone (Cranberry, PA) to advance to the PONY12 World Series in LA, CA. No details on how they fared in the WS but I received a wonderful letter from the PONY Zone Director congratulating the Outlaw's on "...their great run and for displaying a level of sportsmanship and talent that we all can be proud of..." Tom Carroll put his heart and soul into this team. Nice job!

DevilCats 10 Red - Finish 3rd in AABC10 World Series!

Devil Cats 10U Gold were the #1 seed after pool play (13 teams) with 3 mercy wins and the least amount of runs against. They lost 8-4 in the semi-finals. This is an incredibly talented team and is well coached by manager Dave Willett.

NY Storm 13 Red - Went 3-0 in pool play of the ECTB13 World Series with most of their starting pitchers still available to pitch when the weather cancelled the entire tourney in Pa.

The Storm Red finished the season with a 33-2 final record which included a second place finish in a 45 team Diamond Nation World Series losing the final 2-1. Great job by manager Jeff Osborn and all his coaches and congratulations to all of the NY Storm 13 Red players.

These are the incredible performances in 2016 sanctioned post-season play by ENYTB registered teams. Congratulations once more to these five very SPECIAL teams for their incredible achievements!

What a year!
