Now That The Grace Period Is Over:
No More Non-weather Postponements; and,
No More No-Harm-No-Foul Cancellations

The membership has spoken by a vote of 91-1.

So once the Grace Period ends (May 19) the league schedule is locked in and every game NOT played as scheduled must be forfeited UNLESS either of the two exceptions below apply:

EXCEPTION 1 - Bad weather qualifies for a weather postponement/cancellation.

a. WP must be entered to website by either team.
b. Game does NOT have to be made up unless both teams want to do so.
c. If both teams can agree to make-up date/time/place within 7 days, there is a reschedule icon available that will automatically reschedule the WP'd game.
d. Else, after 7 days, either team can use the ADD GAME function (top of schedule) to add a make-up game as a brand new game.

NOTE: Home teams can enter a WP before the date/time of the game. Away teams can do so only after the date/time of the game.

EXCEPTION 2 - Admin Cancellations For Specific Unknowable Conflicts - 3 Types:

a. Type 1 - Conflict with a school baseball game, practice or sports banquet that was unknowable when the schedule was being prepared.

b. Type 2 - Conflict with participation in a sanctioned tournament via ENYTB competition, that was unknowable when the schedule was being prepared.

c. Type 3 - Conflict with participation in an ENYTB hosted tournament that was unknowable when the schedule was being prepared e.g., late entry.

OTHER SCHEDULE CHANGES - Executed between teams and via the website:

A. START TIME CHANGES - Home teams are still allowed to shift the start times of games up to two hours in either direction via timely notification of opponent and entered to the website.

B. FIELD CHANGES - Home teams are still allowed to change the field the game is played on provided timely notice is given to the opponent and entered to the website.

C. GAME TYPE CHANGES - Teams may agree to Game Type changes i.e., SG <----> DH or SG <----> SG9 or DH <----> SG9
provided the change is entered to the website before the scheduled date of the game.

Violations Of Schedule Reliability:

1. - PASSED GAMES (FINES = $75/game)

And remember, as always, you must score or update the status of every game on your schedule within 7 days of the scheduled date.

NOTE: Both teams shall receive automated warning notices of pending violation about 48 hours before the 7 day period expires. However, claims that no warning notice was received shall not nullify the fine.

Both teams have equal responsibility and ability to enter their game scores.

Failure of either team to score the game, forfeit the game or otherwise update the status of a game, shall result in both teams being fined/charged for a PASSED game FINE.

2. - FORFEITS & FORFEITING ON BEHALF OF YOUR OPPONENT WHEN HE FAILS TO ENTER THE FORFEIT TO THE WEBSITE IN A TIMELY MANNER (FINES = $75/game

As soon as a team knows it will be unable to play a game as scheduled, it is required to notify its opponent and enter a FORFEIT to the website (on the game it is forfeiting).

If your opponent notifies you that they will be forfeiting to you but they fail to enter the forfeit to the website in a timely manner (very common), you can/should forfeit the game on behalf of that opponent (there is a separate icon for doing so). This should be done no later than the day BEFORE the scheduled date of the game so that if there is a misunderstanding, all parties have the opportunity to react, undo the forfeit and play the game as scheduled.
