The Role Of League Navigators (New In 2014)

League Navigators (LN) will be introduced to the league in 2014. They will be assigned to clubs at the time of activation. There will be four LNs: Matt Terry; Ed Smith; Bill Stubblebine and Ed Frye. Ed will be the LN for all first year members. The rest of the membership will be apportioned equally across the other three LNs. The same LN will be assigned to a club as well as all its teams.

OLD INFORMATION FOODCHAIN:

Up Flow: Teams ---> Club Rep (their GM) ---> Ed Frye
Down Flow: Ed Frye ---> Club GMs ---> Teams

NEW SYSTEM:

Up Flow: Teams ----> League Navigator ---> Ed Frye
Down Flow: Ed Frye ---> League Navigators ---> Teams

The purpose of this change is to give teams better service and to greatly reduce the burden of Ed Frye to answer all questions. With only a few exceptions, club GMs have not performed their role. Instead, they told their teams to activate themselves and to ask Ed Frye if they have any questions. Those days are over. Ed answered approximately 25,000 phone and email inquiries from members last year. He can not do that again.

Those few club reps that operated correctly in the past, may continue doing so if the wish. Simply tell your assigned LN that is the case when he calls you to introduce himself.
