(This article will be continuously updated as more results come in.)

ENYTB teams won World Series Championships in each of the last three seasons:

  • 2007 - DevilCats16 - NABF Junior Division World Series, Northville, MI.
  • 2008 - Troy Renegades13 - AABC13 Sandy Koufax Division World Series - Owasso, OK.
  • 2009 - Troy Renegades9 - AABC9 Jackie Robinson Division World Series, Tulsa, OK.
No other local travel league has ever won one.

And now, in 2010, TWO MORE ENYTB Teams Have Been Crowned World Champions!

  • 2010 - Troy Renegades15 - NABF15 World Series Classic, Knoxville, TN.
  • 2010 - Rotterdam Rangers16, NABF Junior Division World Series, Northville, MI.
And the post-season is just heating up!

Other ENYTB teams still in the hunt for a World Series Championship include:
  • Waterford Fordians 22 won the recently concluded NABF College Championship Qualifier and will begin Region play in Brooklyn on July 299 (were eliminated in the 4th round of Northeast Regional);
  • Tri-County Bees18 won the NABF18 Northeastern Regional tournament and are 2-0 in World Series pool play in Jackson, MS, having defeated teams from Houston, TX and Queens, NY (advanced to final four before being eliminated);
  • Rotterdam Rangers17 - recently won the PONY18 Regional in Manchester, New Hampshire and are headed to the Zone level tournament in PA (eliminated in Round 3 but fielded the youngest team in tournament (all players 17 or yournger));
  • So. Dutchess Lightning is now competing at the Regional level in the PONY16 National Championship Tournament Series;
  • Red Storm15 has advanced to the Zone level in the PONY15 National Championship Tournament Series finished 2nd;
  • Troy Renegades have won the AABC15 State Tournament and are advancing to the AABC15 World Series in OK (Aug 3 start): the Renegades have the opportunity to become the first ever ENYTB two time World Series Champion in the same year under two different sanctioning bodies;
  • Syracuse Jr. Chiefs are in the Finals of the PONY14 Regional Championship in Brooklyn (finished 2nd);
  • Burnt Hills Bobcats13 won the Upstate NY AABC Championship and are now participating in the AABC Word Series, Sandy Koufax13 division in Battle Creek, MI (where they finished in the top 6 teams nationally out of 22. Advanced to the championship phase (double elimination) following a 4-1 record in pool play. Lost next game 6-4 to Youth Services (NYC team that finished 2nd place overall) and then came back to eliminate the Brooklyn Bonnies 3-2 before being eliminated by Midland Ohio);
  • Upstate Gamers11 won the PONY11 Zone Championship in New Haven, CT and are now competing in the PONY11 World Series in Virginia. The Gamers are the first ever ENYTB team to qualify for a PONY World Series event! (Gamers did not win WS)
  • DiamondRats 11U were undefeated in the AABC11 tournament and will represent Upstate NY in the AABC Gil Hodges World Series in Brooklyn, NY, beginning Friday, July 30th. Following this tournament victory the DiamondRats participated in the 2010 AAU National Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL and finished SECOND IN THE NATION. This earned the DiamondRats an at-large bid into the National AAU Championship tournament that included 32 teams from across the North and South American continents. After facing teams from Florida, Georgia, and California in pool play, the DiamondRats advanced to the elimination round and won a hard-fought victory over the New Engalnd Nor'easters in the round of 16. The DiamondRats defeated the Astors de Biesbol (Columbia, South America) 10-2 in the quarter-finals in a 7:00 AM game that began with the sun rising during pre-game warm-ups. In the National Semi-Finals, the DiamondRats defeated the Tsunami (New Olreans, LA) before falling to the Wellington Colts (Wellington, FL) in the National Championship game.
  • Spring Renegades10, last year's World Series Champion at 9U, has advanced to the AABC Regional in NJ in the Willie Mays Division;
  • Adirondack Heat10 has just won the Northeast PONY10 Regional in New Haven, MS, outscoring their opponents by 37-8, and are headed to the Zone level in Chesterfield VA (finished 2nd in PONY East Zone Championship);
  • Clifton Park Cougars10 honed their skills by playing in the ENYTB regular season before advancing to the Cal Ripken sanctioned post-season, where they won the State Championship. They will play in the Regional Championship later this week in North Tonawanda, NY (Buffalo area).
And there's more. I have yet to hear from our PONY12 Champions (the Saratoga Stampede12). In addition, the Tri-City Bees Unlimited team will be participating in the National Championship Tournament Series for the Unlimited Division in both NABF and AABC, beginning in early August. Who knows, maybe one or two of the above listed teams will join ENYTB's parade of World Series Champions before the summer is over!

ENYTB Sanctioned Tournament Champions Whose Quest For A World Championship Has Ended For This Year, Include:
  • Upstate Vipers17 finished in the top 4 of the recently concluded 40-team NABF17 High School World Series in Knoxville, TN;
  • Niskayuna Indians14 and Halfmoon Mariners both advanced to the NABF Sophomore Division World Series in Virginia and finished in the top four!;
  • DevilCats13 won the PONY13 Section Championship and finished 2nd at the PONY13 Regional, having entered the final two rounds of play undefeated;
To be the best, you must play the best, not just for a few games at the end of the season in an "all-star" contest, but day in and day out throughout the entire season. Participation in ENYTB's Gold Division fully prepares teams for the higher level of competition they will face in post-season championship tournament play. From the first game of the regular season to the last, ENYTB teams face the highest possible level of competition via ENYTB's customized scheduling formula, where every ENYTB team, including Hi Silver as well as Lo Silver teams, selects not only when it is available to play but also the strength of schedule it wishes to play. Combined with ENYTB's centralized access to NABF, PONY and AABC sanctioned National Championship Championship Tournament Series, every ENYTB team also has multiple opportunities for post-season success. This formula underlies the on-the-field success of ENYTB teams noted above. ENYTB membership is the best way to prepare your team for the next level of play. Over the last many years, ENYTB has established a well-earned reputation as a breeding ground for National Champions. Moreover, almost every player drafted by MLB from this area over the last decade has played in ENYTB. The proof is in the pudding!

Congratulations to the record number of ENYTB Championship teams in 2010!!!

NOTE: If your ENYTB team has advanced in a sanctioned national championship tournament series and is not listed above please send me the info and I will post it.
