Minutes - College/Unlimited Division
Meeting came to order at 2:00PM and was adjourned at 3:45PM
League Officers Presiding:
Ed Frye, President, Admin Director
Another very good age division meeting. All major aspects of 2010 college program were discussed and decided. Attendance percentage was highest of any age division. I thank those of you who took the time to attend and participate. The league program strongly reflects your input and is better for it.

First order of business - 2009 Playing Rules were adopted with one change. The maximum permissible diameter for a wood bat is 2 3/4 inches (prior rules stated 2 5/8).
An eight page handout was distributed to all members present. These charts are hyperlinked below.
(1) Members elected to allow 18U teams to double register into 22U for regular season play. Games with any 18DR team will count in the standings at 22U.
(2) 18DR teams are not eligible for NABF tournament berths in the 22U division.
(3) ENYTB will host an NABF Regional Qualifying Tournament, beginning July 23rd.
(4) Both the winner and runner-up teams will advance to the Regional tournament held the following week in Brooklyn, NY. (League will purchase two berths to NABF College Regional.)
(5) ENYTB will pay higher registration fee to give both Regional berth winners the right to draft from ALL other ENYTB 22U teams.
(6) All tournament costs, including associated berth fees, will be shared among all eligible teams (Gold/HiSliver 22U). Participating teams will pay own umpire fees until final two rounds. League will provide game balls, trophies, pay umpire fees for last two rounds of play and purchase berths for advancement.
(7) ALL Gold and HiSilver 22U teams automatically qualify. This includes any late registering teams.
NOTE: By their own vote, LoSilver teams choose not to be eligible for the Qualifying tournament.
(8) Teams will be seeded into the Qualifying tournament based on the regular season standings. Any 1st Round BYES will be awarded to the top seeds. High will play low in all other 1st RD pairings.
(9) There will be a single regular season Standings that will include an adjustment factor for Strength-of-Schedule (SoS).
(10) FLEX Scheduling will include, where possible, a minimum of three games head-to-head between opponents in the same competition level and a minimum of two games between each HiSilver team and each Gold and LoSilver team. There is no minimum for games with any 18DR teams.
