League Services Unique To ENYTB....
There are leagues and there are leagues. ENYTB prides itself as being among the latter, providing its members with a comprehensive, diverse and customized program not commonly available in a baseball league. The following eight features highlight the level of league services provided by ENYTB, most of which you will not be able to find anywhere else.
(1) Centralized access to sanctioning by five different national sanctioning bodies: AABC, NABF, PONY, GSA and CABA.
You tell us who you are and what you want, and leave the details to us. ENYTB will process all the paperwork necessary to registering your team with any or all of the above sanctioning bodies, including all eligibility and qualification criteria for all of the available sanctioned national championship tournament series (NCTS).
And, as a testament to the level of competition within ENYTB, ENYTB has produced national age division World Series champions in each of the last four years:
(3) ENYTB hosts a sanctioned tournament at EVERY age level.
This provides EVERY ENYTB team with the opportunity to participate in at least one LOCALLY HOSTED sanctioned tournament. In addition, AABC hosts its own entry-level tournaments locally and ENYTB teams have access to those tournaments via ENYTB's centralized registration process as well.
(4) ENYTB also hosts a large number of "OPEN" tournaments following the close of the regular season e.g., Last Man Standing.
Didn't qualify for a sanctioned tournament? No problem, enter an ENYTB OPEN tournament. ENYTB offers at least two open tournaments at every age level each year and will conduct as many as there are teams and fields for. NOTE: Because of insufficient entries in 2010, ENYTB will be focusing exclusively on sanctioned tournament hosting in 2011.
(5) ENYTB now has a program for recreational level teams as well.
ENYPONY combines PONY sanctioned house league play for recreational level teams, with inter-member supplemental travel play (optional) and post-season tournament play (optional). Again, due to reduced participation in 2010, it is yet to be determined if this program will be continued in 2011.
(6) ENYTB is administered via the combination of expert ADMIN staff and a state-of-the-art league/tournament management website.
The latter represents and facilitates every aspect of league participation. W/o this website, ENYTB could not offer a program as diverse and customized for this amount of money. The website also acts as a daily sports page devoted exclusively to the ongoing activities and happenings within ENYTB.
League membership usually requires a significant amount of tedious and redundant paperwork. And leagues with more diverse programs and options usually require even more paperwork. Despite the tremendous diversity of the ENYTB program, enytb.com all but eliminates paperwork.
The website provides each club and team its own personalized and fully secure space on the website. Whenever a club rep, manager, coach or player/family logs into enytb.com, the website provides him a view of all league information customized to his club or team. In addition, all information on that club and team is entered, stored, retrieved, and edited in this area. This information can be accessed 24/7 by the league or member and remains available from one year to the next.
Each team registers online by selecting what they want to be eligible for from a menu of options customized to the age and skill level of their team. The only mandatory fee is a charge for the basic package of league services which includes everything in this article except sanctioning fees, open tournament entry fees and fees for any miscellaneous optional items e.g., field rental or tee shirts. Teams select from this menu by placing a check in the check-box of any optional program or service it wishes to purchase. The website maintains an itemized invoice of each team's choices, along with a detailed record of payments and applicable credits (receipt).
The website also helps teams find free agent players. Teams can advertise for players online, announce their public tryouts online, and search ENYTB's online proprietary player database for free agents by age, place of residence or position. When a player contacts the league seeking placement, every eligible team is emailed the player's bio and contact info. Lastly, the website prevents ENYTB teams from adding another team's players to its roster in violation of the league's constitutional provisions pertaining to player protection.
The website also facilitates ENYTB's highly customized scheduling service. Teams can enter their schedule inputs online, view their schedule online when it is made available, and most importantly, manage/update their schedules online throughout the season. Teams also can advertise for and/or search for pick-up games and when they make a match, add the game to their online schedule. Teams can also add their non-league games to their online schedule.
Teams can enter scores and view their standings online. They also can enter lineup cards, player stats, and game stories online. The website also includes a comprehensive Game Report tool that integrates all of this together into a media ready game report that can be easily emailed with a single click to any group of local newspapers selected by the club.
The website also provides each manager with the ability to communicate with his team via online messaging and/or email. In addition, for game confirmation or discussing potential schedule changes, managers and coaches can obtain contact info on their
opponents via the website. Similarly, field directions for away games also can obtain via the website by managers, coaches, players and their family members.
The website also contains much information about the league, its program and the website itself. There is a great FAQ page, a HELP menu, a Getting Started link on the Main Menu and much more.
(7) In addition to having the best league management website bar none, ENYTB also boasts having an expert ADMIN Staff (live people) available to provide members with unlimited support services (help).
Replies to requests for information are often instantaneous and never longer than 72 hours. From soup to nuts, we are here ready to answer your questions about any aspect of the league program, including the navigation/operation of the league website.

Sharon has been active in league sports for many years and is trained in all aspects of league operations, including website navigation and functionality.
(8) ENYTB also provides all members with an impartial arbitration service to resolve any disputes that may arise between fellow members, including issues of player protection and sportsmanship.
When possible, all matters are resolved in strict accordance with the League's Constitution and By-Laws, Playing Rules and Administrative Rules. Judgment also may come into play, particularly within gray areas that are not explicitly addressed by any of these documents.
The website will soon have a form located on the Members' Council page where members can enter official complaints. Sharon Montagne will investigate all complaints. The ENYTB Members' Council then reviews Sharon's findings and gives its opinion. The ENYTB Executive then issues a final disposition of the matter. Whenever possible, decisions are rendered within 15 days of the date the complaint is submitted.
So, when our local rivals ask why you would pay more to be in ENYTB when you could join their program for less, the answer should be easy. Like we stated at the top, there are leagues and there are leagues.
