Intro To Club Admins
Overview
Organized team sports require much information. And none more than baseball.
In general, in order for a team to be enrolled in an organized youth league, much information about the club and team must be collected and organized. A good deal of this information is concerned with simply identifying the adults who will be running the club and teams as well as the players who will be playing on them (rosters). Leagues that offer scheduling and registration options must collect additional data on those preferences and choices.
What is an ENYTB Club Administrator i.e., club rep?
- A member is a club.
- A club consists of one or more teams.
- Each club is required to have an owner of record. This can be an organization or a person.
- Each club must appoint a club administrator who officially represents the club in all matters with the league and who will be ultimately responsible for fulfilling all of the club’s league obligations. This person is known as the club rep. The owner of record and the club rep can be the same person.
