Sanctioned ENYTB Teams - Also Can Take Advantage of ENYTB's Age Eligibility Loophole For Regular Season Play But That Will Limit Them To Sanctioned Tournament Berth Awards From The June Madness Tournament Alone

Sanctioned teams that wish to take advantage of ENYTB's age eligibility loophole for regular season play (allowing up to three players one year older than the official team age) may do so with the following two provisions:

    (1) Any team using over-aged players in regular season play, other than that prescribed by the sanctioning body, is NOT eligible for any sanctioned tournament berth awards based on regular season standings alone.

NOTE: This does not apply to PONY18 teams since PONY's rules allow up to three 19 year olds on their 18U tournament rosters. In other words, PONY18 teams can use up to three 19 year olds in regular season play and still be eligible for PONY berth awards based on regular season standings.

    (2) Over-aged players, other than that prescribed by the sanctioning body, are not eligible for ENYTB's June Madness Tournaments. (These tournaments qualify teams for "bonus" berths in sanctioned tournaments therefore they must be compliance with the age eligibility rules of teh sanctioning bodies.)

However, teams that use over-aged players during the regular season may elect to participate in the June Madness Tournaments provided they shed their over-aged players for this tournament. Then these teams would be eligible for the sanctioned tournament berths awarded via the June Madness Tournaments. The over-aged players, of course, would still not be eligible for the sanctioned tournaments themselves, should their team win a berth.
